Dumfries Show

2nd August 2014

Dumfries show despite torrential rain at times was very well attended. There were 9 Belted Galloway exhibitors and 23 cattle forward. The highlight was a tremendous show of 16 Belties filling the showing ring in the pair class. It was also good to welcome a new exhibitor, James Bell and family. Congratulations to them, a red rosette for their bull calf at their first outing. The new stock bull for Mochrum Estates bought after the Highland Show, Coulmony Blair went on to win the overall Beltie Championship. Female Champion and Reserve overall went to the in calf heifer Tobergill Poppy.
