Straiton Show

Once again a good day was had by all at Straiton Show. A unique rural show always popular with the Beltie breeders was judged this year by John Maxwell (Senior) from Jaws Farm on Lomondside. He is a breeder of Black and Dun Galloways. He picked Tobergill Poppy a three year old 1st calver with Feb born heifer calf, Stornoway at foot as Champion. She is owned by Jennifer Taylor and is by Coulmony Coll and her calf by the AI bull Karandrea Ronaldo. Best opposite sex and Reserve Champion went to the bull Cairnsmore Hamish owned by Jane and Bill Landers.
