This Summer’s herd visit will be to the Yare Valley herd on the 8th June 2024 by kind invitation of Will and Sarah Mack at The Grange, Surlingham in Norfolk – Farm walk to commence at 2.30pm.
Will and Sarah have a super herd of Belted Galloways which many of you will have seen exhibited at the Royal Norfolk and Aylsham Shows. Their foundation cows have come from the Croasdale, Cairnsmore, Hillfield and OfftheWall herds and they have two stock bulls Dornells Jack and Barwise Barcode as well as a good selection of youngstock to view.
In addition to the herd of Belted Galloway cattle, there will be a commercial herd to view and Cattle Round House, together with other farm diversifications including the rape oil press for those of you that may have seen Yare Valley rapeseed oil on the supermarket shelves!
